Abstract

The outer layers in a composite enclosure wall with lightweight insulating material are apt to be destroyed by the actions from temperature, wind, gravity, and so on. In this paper, the coupling effects of multiple factors were probed by means of test and numerical simulation. The test specimens are divided into two groups in given conditions. The characteristic curves of coupling stress and corresponding strain in different layers have been sorted out based on the test data. The results show that the peak stress and strain at some parts in outer covering layers under the impact of multiple factors are amplified significantly than that of a single factor in some conditions. And these coupling effects lead to the decrease of safety performance on outer covering layers in a composite enclosure wall.
